Day 1

Pick up this morning at Airport Yogyakarta and drive to the city centre to visit Sultan Palace and Taman Sari water castle. Continue to a batik and leather puppet workshop to see the making process. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing hotel at Magelang area for your stay. (L)

Day 2

Pick up early this morning at Hotel in Magelang Area and depart to Dieng Plateau, nearby Wonosobo in Central Java. The 4-hour drive will take you through local villages, rice fields and plantations, away from the bustling city. Located at an altitude of 2000m, Dieng is a caldera complex formed by the eruption of Mount Prau and the name itself literally means “Abode of the Gods”. Upon arrival, explore the highland by visiting craters, lesser known lakes, and the early 8th century Hindu temples complex, built by Sanjaya Dynasty. Day 3

Pick up early morning before the sun rising to Borobudur Temple. Explore the biggest Buddhist temple in Indonesia before heading back to your hotel and drive to Airport Yogyakarta for your next destination.
